One Stop Automotive Needs

1/22/2010

The downturn in the economy has affected aspects of the automobile industry aside from the Big Three. Shipments of tires declined by more than nine percent in 2008 compared to 2007 and the trend is continuing in 2009, according to the Rubber Manufacturers Association.

Smaller tire companies need to adapt to survive during trying periods. Tire Corral of West Collingswood is family owned and operated, and has been around for forty-one years. Their business has felt the economic crunch, but that just seems to make them work harder.

“We’re the small guy, so we’ve always been doing a lot of extras,” says a Tire Corral representative. “And we use our advertising dollars wisely.”

Some of their extras include free mounting, free balancing, free valves, free disposal, free rotations, free flat repair, and free safety inspection included in your original tire price. Tire Corral emphasizes the word “free.”

They sell commercial and industrial tires, and they can get you hard to find tires. They can supply earth movers, and tires as large as their building. “We use the slogan, “No matter what you drive, we have the tires you need,” said the representative.

Along with that, Tire Corral offers full service auto maintenance and repair service 24/7, and you can also join their Oil Club. After you get your fourth oil change, you will receive your fifth one free.

Also, Tire Corral is proud to be the exclusive donor of tires for the Charity Cars Program in South Jersey. You can donate your old car to a needy recipient escaping the abuse of domestic violence. More information is available from Denise Demmin at 1-800-242-7489, Ext. 8116. And any donation will be eligible for a full tax write-off.

No matter what their size may be, tire companies will remain successful by keeping up with current trends. Tire Corral’s all-inclusive service is as up to date as it gets nowadays.

Tire Corral can be found in four locations, Grenloch, Clementon and Chelsihurst, along with West Collingswood. Their motto, “We’re making drivers smile”, just might work for your automotive needs.
